CAN YOU FIND THE QUIET?
Rving is a wonderful experience for the family. We took my kids to the beach to camp. We pulled out the awning - it was a beautiful weekend. In the evening we built a fire, the kids were so excited, we pulled our chairs around the fire and fixed smores. I watched their faces as the fire reflected on them, the air was cool, the stars were bright, we played a few songs on my guitar and sang. The words were few but I believe so so much was spoken that night. It's the memories of quietness together that seem to mean the most to me, as I reflect on my childhood with my dad. I think we underestimate those moments. I think camping and the opportunities we have for that quietness and stillness is what our children will remember and cherish. Take time to be still and just enjoy each other's presence.
